Terms of Employment:
11 months/ 211 days per year. Compensation is Administrative Support Pay Plan PG4 on the EISD Compensation Plan. Entry level rate of pay is $17.36/hour with additional consideration based upon directly related experience.
Primary Purpose:
Facilitate the efficient operation of the administrative office and provide clerical services to the school principal and other staff members.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or regional accrediting agency)
Fifteen (15) semester hours college credit from an accredited college or university; Or
Two (2) years experience in a public school system with clerical/computer experience; Or
Three (3) years of general clerical data entry experience
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Must be self-motivated, possess the ability to work with frequent interruptions, able to handle multiple tasks and work collaboratively to meet TEA and district deadlines.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high level of integrity regarding the data entry process, student records, and campus issues.
Proficiency in general office management, organization and procedures.
Ability to implement oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
Ability to establish positive working relationships with administrators, teachers, other auxiliary personnel, students and the general public.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Complete student registration activities including data entry, course enrollments and student program codes.
Process cyclical student data reports using student information system and related computer applications.
Update and maintain student on-line files.
Update and maintain school’s master schedule as directed by principal.
Print and process progress reports and report cards.
Perform daily attendance updating and balancing tasks and attendance clerk functions as assigned by principal.
Maintain student record logs and files including permanent cumulative records, TEA and district reports.
Provide assistance to teachers and staff in using district administrative applications.
Attendance at work is an essential job function.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY
The Part-Time File Clerk is an hourly, part-time position for employees with at least a high school diploma. Experience working in a professional office environment with basic equipment is required. This position runs errands, makes deliveries, answers the switchboard and performs other basic office duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Use of personal vehicle to make pick-up and deliveries to client offices, as well as the post office and other errands as necessary
Sort and deliver mail within the office daily
Clean and maintain the employee break area daily
File client correspondence and billing
Some light typing, such as client file labels and mailing labels, air bills and bus packages
Copy Firm and client documents, such as tax returns and financial statements and other correspondence or articles, as necessary
Operate the Firm switchboard
Become proficient in use of all office machines required to perform job duties
Complete assigned tasks with minimal follow-up
Become familiar with the local geographic area
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months to a year related business experience and/or training.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have basic computer skills to function within a computer-driven environment. The employee is expected to take initiative to achieve competency with the Firm-authorized software.

SCOPE:
The Order Entry Clerk I will hold responsibility for the governance, facilitiation, accuracy, and monitoring of key information required for customer orders (both new and existing orders).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS
